BARCELONA, Spain (AVING Special Report on '3GSM 2008') -- Samsung Electronics unveiled ‘Ultra Edition II 12.1(model: U700)’, its flagship HSDPA model during 3GSM 2007 for its handset business in the first half of 2007. It features 2.22-inch TFT-LCD display, a 3.2M camera with auto-focus, and B&Q’s digital power amp.

It is available in four colors -sapphire blue, garnet red, platinum metal and copper gold . and it is expected to be on sale in the first quarter in Europe market.

Samsung to release its handset 'Secret Color Phone'

SEOUL, Korea (AVING) -- Samsung Electronics announced the launch of its sliding mobile phone ‘Secret Color Phone(model: SCH-W360/SPH-W3600)’ in Korea market, which is going to be released as a special package with ‘benefit’ makeup products.

Featuring two-tone color design, the Secret Color Phone comes with four different colors of a keypad including pink, red, blue and green. Adopting a vibrating touchpad, the Secret Color Phone supports up to 7.2Mbps data transfer speeds and two Bluetooth connections simultaneously in order to share music between friends or couples.

According to the company, Samsung expects to present its clamshell type handset(model: SPH-W4150) in the next month. Only 600 units are available, and suggested price is between 500,000(KRW) and 600,000(KRW).

SEOUL, Korea (AVING) -- LG Electronics launches its 13.3mm-thick 3G phone ‘LG-KH1800’ dubbed as ‘Orange color phone’ in Korea market, which enhanced orange colored keypad.

By adopting an additional multitasking button, you can use SMS service, telephone directory, and alarm setting, even while calling.

Other features included its 3G WCDMA automatic roaming service, MP3 playback, text viewer, camera and electronic dictionary function.

It is expected to be available for 352,000(KRW) via KTF telecom.

BERLIN, Germany (AVING Special Report on 'IFA 2007') -- LG Electronics unveiled its 3G smart phone ‘LG-KS20’ during IFA 2007, which features 12.8mm thickness and 2.8-inch all touch screen display with full browsing capability. Running on Windows Mobile 6.0, the LG-KS20 supports HSDPA network, 3.6Mbps download speed.

Other features of the 3G smart phone included push email service, 2M camera, mp3 playback, Bluetooth 2.0, cursive script recognition and video call. It will be available in 4Q 2007 in Europe market.

Unfortunately, details are all but scant right now, but this reportedly GSM-enabled device allows you to take and initiate calls via Bluetooth or the built-in microphone / speaker combo, and it also packs a built-in media player and a few games to ensure that your geek factor is unfathomably high.
