Motorola Ships Good Mobile Messaging 5

PlanetaCelular tecnologia e mobilidade

Motorola today announced the availability of Good Mobile Messaging 5, making mobile email more personalized and productive while enhancing IT control. Good 5 provides a flexible mobile messaging platform, supporting multiple mobile operating systems and providing robust IT controls without sacrificing user wants and needs.

Good 5 introduces innovative email and PIM capabilities that help enable mobile users easily find what they need when they need it and get work done. New features include:

- Group and find emails by conversation
- Complete end-to-end calendaring, including conference room availability
- Edit and send pictures and Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF documents
- Access SMS, MMS and personal email from the Good Home Screen
- Dial without password entry

Being productive on a smartphone has been challenging in part because the phone doesn't adapt to users' specific preferences, needs or workflow the way they are accustomed with a desktop or laptop. Good 5 enables the personalization of the mobile experience with the following new features:

- Mobile RSS reader and subscription manager
- Customizable priority mail
- Personalized notifications

Good 5 provides more control by giving IT professionals advanced capabilities previously available through the Good Mobile Defense product. Features include:

- Enforce mandatory applications
- Lockdown Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Infrared, camera and SD card
- Advanced password management
- Advanced encryption management
- Simplified load balancing

Good 5 is available immediately through cellular operators worldwide, certified value-added resellers, and directly through Motorola Good Technology Group. The software and service supports a broad choice of the industry's most popular smartphones, running on both IBM Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange.
