SEOUL, Korea (AVING) -- Bluebird (www.bluebird.co.kr) launches its bar-type 14.9mm thick PDA phone ‘PIDION BM-500’ in Korea market, which adopted WLAN(802.11b/g), Bluetooth and T-DMB. Running on Windows Mobile 5.0 Phone Edition, it supports Microsoft Office Mobile with which you can create, view and edit documents or spreadsheets and even rehearse your presentation with PowerPoint Mobile when you are out of the office. Containing 2.8-inch QVGA TFT-LCD panel and 1.3M camera, it supports USB host enabling users to directly connect USB based keyboard, flash memory and external HDD. Adopting 512MB ROM and mini SD slot(up to 2GB capacity), it includes IrDA (Infrared Data Accosiation) interface that could be used as a remote control. “As a multifunctional PDA, the BM500 integrated almost all specifications of PDA phone,” the company claims.
