Equipped with an MP3 player, a 2.0-megapixel camera and a video camera with extended playback capabilities, the Ve represents the last generation in a line of RAZR phones before the upcoming RAZR2. The Motorola RAZR MAXX Ve packs an array of multimedia options into the iconic RAZR design and tops it off with a lightening-fast 3G connection. Based on the Motorola RAZR MAXX V6 with a few slight differences, the Ve's EV-DO technology serves up Verizon's VCAST music and video services as well as Get it Now downloads and Mobile Web 2.0 emailing capabilities.
Equipped with an MP3 player, a 2.0-megapixel camera and a video camera with extended playback capabilities, the Ve represents the last generation in a line of RAZR phones before the upcoming RAZR2. Its refinements include a dark metal and glass design, an improved keypad and a bright 2.2-inch screen. The Ve comes packed with a generous 60 MB of internal memory plus the option of 2 GB removable microSD memory.
Three touch-sensitive buttons for music control positioned on the outside of the phone, coupled with stereo Bluetooth support (A2DP Profile), make listening to music on the phone while using it to take calls a seamless experience.
In capability, the Ve goes head to head with the less expensive Verizon LG VX8700, which has a better interior screen and also delivers VCAST services using the 3G network.

Como posso me conectar a Internet utilizando o Vivo Zap?
Você precisará seguir as seguintes etapas:
- Adquirir um aparelho celular equipado com a tecnologia CDMA, CDMA 1XRTT ou CDMA 1XEVDO e seu respectivo cabo (do mesmo fabricante), um cartão PCMCIA ou um PDA CDMA 1XRTT;
- Instalar os respectivos "drivers”;
- Contratar o serviço Vivo Zap;
- Contratar um Provedor de Internet (ISP)
- Configurar a respectiva conexão a esse provedor;
- Acionar o browser de Internet.
Como é feita a cobrança referente ao Vivo Zap?
A tarifação deste serviço, dentro da área de cobertura CDMA e CDMA 1XRTT, será feita pelo volume de dados utilizados por sessão em unidades de 100 KB. Na área de cobertura CDMA 1xRTT sua velocidade de conexão será de até 153 Kbps, já na rede digital CDMA sua velocidade será de até 14,4 Kbps, porém a tarifação é a mesma. Preciso habilitar o serviço Vivo Zap?
Sim. Tanto para os usuários que optarem pelo aparelho celular com cabo de conexão, Bluetooth ou infravermelho, como para os que optarem pela compra do cartão PCMCIA será necessário fazer a habilitação do Vivo Zap (preferencialmente no ato da aquisição do equipamento). Você precisará ser usuário em qualquer dos Planos de Serviços Pós-pago.
Necessito contratar um Provedor de Internet (ISP) para me conectar a Internet com o Vivo Zap?
Sim. O Vivo Zap oferece ao usuário somente a conectividade necessária para acessar um Provedor de Internet (ISP). Assim, além do Vivo Zap, o usuário deverá contratar um Provedor de Internet que, lhe dará acesso à rede Internet.
Necessito contratar um Provedor de Internet (ISP) para me conectar a Internet com o Vivo Zap VPN?
Não. Você poderá acessar a Internet desde que a sua empresa forneça esse acesso a partir da sua rede.
A Vivo possui o serviço Provedor de Internet?
Sim. O serviço da Vivo está disponível para todos os usuários nos Estados onde serviço Vivo Zap está disponível. Qual a diferença entre Vivo Zap e Vivo Zap VPN?
O Vivo Zap oferece conectividade necessária para ter acesso à Internet, sendo que o usuário necessitará de um Provedor de Internet (ISP) para acessá-la efetivamente. Já a facilidade adicional Vivo Zap VPN oferece conectividade à rede corporativa de sua empresa, que contrata este serviço, dando acesso a todos os recursos que esta oferece aos seus usuários ("drivers" compartilhados da rede, impressoras, Internet, diretórios/bibliotecas...). Para o Vivo Zap VPN, você não poderá contratar um Provedor de Internet, e qualquer acesso será condicionado aos recursos que a sua empresa disponibilizar a partir de sua rede (que incluem, na maior parte dos casos, acesso à Internet).

Os valores da assinatura de pacotes e do provedor de Internet (ISP) da Vivo, se aplicável, aparecerão no item de Serviços e Taxas. Quais os maiores benefícios desta tecnologia?
Estar sempre conectado e disponível (always-on). Como tal, o usuário não é cobrado por tempo, mas sim pela quantidade de dados utilizados. A velocidade na transmissão de dados chega até 144 kbps, 10 vezes mais rápida que a atual, sem fio (wireless).
O que acontece se cair a ligação durante um download?
Se isto acontecer, a sessão será encerrada, havendo a cobrança dos KB utilizados até o momento. O arquivo que estava sendo descarregado será perdido e será necessário reiniciar o acesso (como na Internet fixa).
O serviço funciona se eu for para um estado onde a tecnologia é outra (TDMA)?
Não funciona.
É preciso trocar de aparelho para usar este serviço?

Motorola revela novo “monstro multimédia”
Chama-se Z8, vai chegar à Europa no final de Julho e foi ontem apresentado pela fabricante como um equipamento único em termos de desempenho multimédia.
O Z8 assume a inédita forma de um “kick slider” – um suporte deslizante que depois de aberto assume o formato de uma meia-lua – e chega ao mercado com uma capacidade base de armazenamento de 512 MB, mas que pode ser expandida através de cartão até aos 32 GB.
O Z8 trará de origem o filme The Bourne Identity para demonstrar as capacidades inéditas do equipamento em termos de resolução de imagem - 30 frames por segundo sobre um ecrã TFT capaz de optimizar a experiência de visualização em formato horizontal e vertical.
Em termos de conectividade, o Z8 garante acesso HSDPA de banda larga à Internet até 3.6 Mbps.
No mesmo evento onde ontem estivemos presentes a convite da fabricante norte-americana, foi ainda revelada a nova geração do RAZR - a RAZR2 que integra agora três novos modelos: V9 (3G HSDPA), V9m (EVDO CDMA) e V8 (GSM).<> Todos os modelos são dois milímetros mais finos que os da geração antecessora, oferecem de origem 2GB de capacidade de armazenamento e correm sobre uma plataforma Linux/Java. São esperados no mercado a partir de Julho.
A Motorola aproveitou ainda para apresentar o novo ROKR Z6 e o Moto Q 9. O primeiro é um equipamento de assumida vocação musical integrando todas as tecnologias de reprodução e transferência Windows Media.
